We are North East Independent School District (NEISD), one of the fastest growing school districts in the nation, and we need good dependable people to drive our school buses.
We offer Monday through Friday employment, a very good starting salary of $11.00 an hour with a .25 cent per hour raise every 44 school days for the rest of the year. We also offer a Perfect Attendance bonus of $50 dollars a month. We provide full health benefits and 5 paid holidays. Our drivers are off during Thanksgiving break, Winter break, and of course Spring Break...Cancun here we come!!!!
Most of our morning runs begin at 6:00 a.m. and end at 9:00 a.m., and in the afternoon runs begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Many of our runs however begin at 6:30 a.m. and end at 8:30 a.m., and in the afternoon many start at 2:15 p.m. and end by 4:45 p.m. If you cover your shifts, we offer everyone a 25-hour work week, whether you actually work that many hours or not!! THINK ABOUT IT. Your morning shift is over at 8:30, when most people are just getting to work! You are out in the fresh air and you don't have to be back until 2:00 p.m. This gives most a solid block of 5-6 hours every day for personal business. Like to golf??? This is your dream job! Take the car in for that oil change, or tire rotation you've been putting off! You can get a lot done in 5 to 6 hours between runs!
