The STEM RAM Academy is a magnet program located on the Robert E. Lee campus, one of the most vibrant and tradition rich campuses in NEISD. It is a school within a school concept that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, thus the name STEM. It is partially funded by the Gates and Dell Foundation whose primary purpose is to provide the opportunity for students to take virtually all Pre AP and AP classes while earning up to 24 college credit hours. Students can also earn Dual Credit hours as well, experiencing a college ready atmosphere as we prepare students for their lives after high school. Students and faculty are guided by our Core Beliefs that ensures that every child exemplifies Leadership, Integrity, Respect, a sense of Community and Citizenship as well as a strong Work Ethic. These Core Beliefs binds us into a close knit family striving to find the path that is right for each child while sustaining the support necessary for success in a rapidly advancing work place and world.
Our mission is to create a school for everyone, where students, teachers and staff embrace and exhibit the Core Values of STEM. We will provide an education that prepares students for college and beyond through a nurturing environment, providing consistent support to achieve what is best for our students, and instilling along the way a sense of destiny and purpose. “To be the best STEM Academy in the nation”.
