Recent legislative action during the 83rd Regular Session of the Texas Legislature may change the content of this website as it applies to STAAR. Please note that current STAAR requirements are still in place. All students who enter the 9th grade in the 2011-2012 school year or later are assessed under the STAAR system as mandated by the Texas Education Code (TEC). Students who entered 9th grade prior to the 2011-2012 school year remain under the TAKS system until graduation. If and when the bills addressing STAAR become law, this website will be updated and the district will provide information for those students impacted by the changes. In particular, high school testing and graduation requirements for students who enter 9th grade between 2011-2012 and 2014-2015 may change. Please contact your counselor if you have any questions about testing requirements and/or graduation requirements.
