Battalion History

Theodore Roosevelt High School was established in 1966 and the Roughrider Battalion two years later in 1968.  We were a Honor Unit with Distinction from the years of  1968-2004, and a Honor Unit from 2004-2006. We regained the Honor Unit with Distinction last year and hope to keep it for years to come. We above all else are a battalion steeped in tradition, from our Big Stick to our award winning drill teams.
