MISSION STATEMENT

Career and Technology Education in North East Independent School District prepares students to continue academic development through their individual career pathways, and enter the job market with the skills necessary for their chosen careers. These skills are developed through activities that incorporate critical thinking and problem solving. The cooperative effort between the school and the community prepares students for the challenges of the twenty first century.

The Career and Technology Education Department is dedicated to providing education and training to ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the workplace and society.

These programs also provide students with the skills necessary to utilize technology in the workforce.
