In order to ensure a high degree of safety for persons on the campuses and to prevent unnecessary damage to the grounds, no wheeled vehicles or carriers of any kind, including bicycles, skates, and skateboards, shall be permitted to operate on any athletic fields, play areas, sidewalks, ramps, loading docks, streets, roads, and driveways on school property. Because of numerous pedestrians being present, students riding bicycles to and from school should walk their bicycles between the perimeter of the school property and the bicycle rack at school. The only exception to this provision shall be officially approved, District-owned vehicles, or other approved contractors' and workmen's vehicles in execution of District functions. |
