The parents written request for early graduation must be submitted to the principal prior to the beginning of the semester in which graduation requirements will be met. It is understood that the completion of graduation requirements is dependent upon successful scheduling of the necessary courses since conflicts in scheduling could make the completion of the Early Graduation Plan impossible. An early graduate who completes graduation requirements at the end of the first semester and who wishes to participate in the May graduation ceremonies of the school must notify the campus administration in writing no later than April 1st of his/her request to participate.
It is further understood that students who elect to graduate early will waive the opportunity to be considered by the Scholarship Committee to receive the top ranking or second ranking student designation for scholarship awards. However, early graduates should seek information from the school counselor about the Higher Education Coordinating Boards "Scholarship Program for Early High School Graduates" and will be eligible for honor graduate designations as follows:
Summa Cum Laude 100 Cumulative Grade Average
Magna Cum Laude 95-99 Cumulative Grade Average
Cum Laude 90-94 Cumulative Grade Average
