Bilingual Program

Herminia Alarcon is the Regency Place Bilingual Coordinator.  Veronica Salazar is her Bilingual Assistant.

Regency Place Elementary is one of many cluster schools  that support our bilingual/ESL students in the North East School District.  This is our fifth year as a Bilingual Cluster School.  We have bilingual teachers and ESL certified teachers on every grade level.  Regency Place has over many students in the program and they represent many languages.

The program's purpose is to enable our Bilingual students to become competent in speaking, reading and comprehension of the English language through the development of literacy in their first language and English. The bilingual program allows students to learn the content subject areas in their first language while learning English through ESL support and methodologies.
