Speech
Peggy Duran, Speech Language Pathologist
Speech-language therapy is available to children aged 3 through fifth grade who meet the eligibility criteria. Speech therapy services include evaluation and treatment of language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders which are provided during school hours. Children ages 3 to 5 years who are not eligible for public school classes may receive these services through the public school. An assessment may be requested by the parent by calling the school and setting up an appointment with the speech pathologist. Children enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade are usually referred by their teacher due to concerns in one or more of the areas previously mentioned.
