This point began our program at Redland Oaks.

Redland Oaks Elementary School in the North East Independent School District (NEISD) located in San Antonio, Texas, has conducted salvage archaeological investigations for the past seven years.

This web site describes the Redland Oaks Archaeology Program. It includes detailed information about the program, its origin, process and a student organization: Caretakers of the Past (COPS). Pictures and descriptions of some of the findings, artifacts and ecofacts are presented. Redland Oaks' curriculum activities and other archaeology curriculum activities are included. Introductory information about archaeology includes laws, resources and links to other archaeological web sites.
