District New Student Information and FAQ

Registration of New Kindergarten - 5^th Grade Students:  Continues until June 11^th and resumes on August 6^th

Registration appointments will be accepted for new Kindergarten students for the 2008-2009 school year.

Parents may pick up registration packets in the Redland Oaks office at any time, but please call 491-8375 to schedule an appointment for registration.

Items Needed for Registration

1. Parent or legal guardian must register the student.
   (If not natural parent, guardian must make appointment with NEISD Pupil Personnel)

2. Proof of Residency - House - Current water or electric bill
                                       Apartment - Current lease - student listed as occupant

3. Birth Certificate - Must be issued by state in which student was born. (Not hospital birth certificate)

4. Immunization Records - Must be current

5. Student's Social Security Card or Texas State ID Number

6. Photo ID of person enrolling student

7. Last report card or withdrawal form from previous school.

Registration of Pre-Kinder:

Students will be registered at their neighborhood schools beginning August 7, 2008 from 8:30 - 2:30.  Please call your neighborhood school for information.
