Redland Oaks Chess Tournament

Redland Oaks Chess Club members participate in End Of Year Tournament.

               The Redland Oaks Chess Club closed out this year with an elimination chess tournament. The championship match was held on Thursday, May 29th at 7:30 AM. Two levels were played, kinder through third grade with fourth and fifth graders forming the upper level matches. Initial partners were selected by a random draw and the matches were played in a timed format. All the students that participated had a good time in this friendly tournament that was a great end-of-year culminating activity for the Chess Club.
