Go! Kids Challenge Family Night

Go! Kids Challenge Family Night Hosted by 3rd Grade
Third grade students would like to invite all Redland Oaks family and students to the Go! Kids Challenge Family Night.  On Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 6:30 pm, a short PTA meeting will be held in the gym preceding our activity.  After the PTA meeting, third grade students, along with the new Driscoll Middle School spirit club, and a few jazz band students will lead students and family around the Redland Oaks track for an evening of exercise and fun.  Your child does not have to be participating in the Go! Kids Challenge exercise program to attend; new forms will be available if you and your family would like to start the fitness program.  If your child is involved in an organized sports program, please have them wear their team shirt to show their support and involvement in fitness and exercise.  Afterwards, healthy snacks will be provided by PTA.  A free activity book full of puzzles, games, and recipes will be given to every Redland Oaks student who attends.  Come join us for an exciting, fitness filled evening!!!

Julian Franklin Visits Redland Oaks
Mr. Julian Franklin visited our school on Tuesday, September 18th.  He taught our first through fifth graders all about simple machines.  We learned by doing experiments and magic.  His pet rat, Roosevelt, was very funny and smart, too!  Can you name the six simple machines?  We can!  Thank you Mr. Franklin!

Pre-Kindergarten Information
