The Churchill High School JROTC Charger Battalion placed first among all district schools in the annual District Formal Inspection. Reagan High School claimed second while Johnson High School took home third. Madison, MacArthur, Roosevelt and Lee High Schools ranked fourth through seventh, respectively.

"Our cadets work very hard all year long," said Sergio Ramon, instructor. "This award is well deserved."

The District Army Instructor evaluates the health of the battalion. Some of the items inspected are uniform wear, marching, knowledge of customs and courtesies, and more.
