On Friday, May 23, Reagan High School hosted its Annual Awards Banquet to acknowledge 26 gold medals and 23 silver medals on the National Latin Exam. Stephanie Cruz, Alessandra Fairchild, Krisandra Hardy and Jason Benoit received special recognition for achieving perfect scores on the exam.

The National Latin Exam Committee also presented Cruz with a copy of the "Oxford Classical Dictionary" for receiving her fourth gold medal in a row.

According to the Committee, only 1,062 students out of more than 135,000 who participated in the entire United States, Australia, Mozambique, Canada, England, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Brazil, China and Zimbabwe attained perfect scores.
