Reagan senior attends summer science program, one of 11 in nation

Jenna Gaska, a senior at Reagan High School, recently attended the Baylor University High School Summer Science Research Program. She was one of 11 students chosen out of 95 applicants from across the nation to attend the five week internship.

During that time, each student was paired up with a faculty mentor and developed a research project. The internship culminated in the students preparing a research paper and giving an oral presentation to faculty and parents. Gaska's research project was entitled: "The Nasal Carriage and Environmental Presence of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)."
