At its monthly Outstanding Student Recognition Program, the Windcrest Optimist Club gave special recognition to students from schools within the North East ISD Roosevelt High School cluster for their conduct, citizenship, scholastic success and optimistic attitude during the month of March. Following introductions and words of praise from their school teachers and principals, the students were presented special Optimist Club plaques for their achievements.

The following NEISD students were awarded recognition plaques by President Walt: Krueger - Stella Fuertes; Windcrest - Jeff Khan; Roosevelt - Shanea Brown; and East Terrell Hills - Joshua Perez.
