Two NESA student films showcased on KLRN show

Two North East School of the Arts cinema students will have their films broadcast on KLRN Public Television's "Fresh Cut 2007" on May 17, 2007 at 9 p.m. Students Margaret Ross-Martin and Chris Hergert had their films chosen in a competition by the television show's producers based on content and style.  "Fresh Cut 2007" is KLRN's documentary showcasing outstanding local student's films.

Ross-Martin's film "Clementine" is a black and white artistic film portraying the real meaning of the folk song.  She will also be featured with her crew, Mark Sheridan and Rebecca Potts. Hergert's film "Die Fahrt" or "The Ride" is a short touching documentary about a mother and her son whose estrangement is as wide as the continent from which they come.
