Madison JROTC gives winning performance at Lewisville competition

The extracurricular teams from the Madison High School JROTC Battalion competed on October 20, 2007 at Lewisville High School in Lewisville, Texas. The armed drill team, commanded by Cadet Captain Michael Little, took second place regulation, first place exhibition, first place team commander and first place overall. The unarmed drill team, commanded by Cadet Captain Allison Solis, took first place regulation, third place exhibition, tied for first place team commander and second place overall. The male color guard, commanded by Cadet Captain Richard Smith, took second place inspection, second place drill and second place overall. The female color guard, commanded by Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Kari Doring, took second place inspection, second place drill and second place overall. "All teams put in a great effort to achieve such a great success," said Colonel Robert Henson, director of Army Instruction. |
