MacArthur Science Team earns first place at UIL Invitational


The MacArthur High School Science Team placed first at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Invitational. The win gives the team their 10th consecutive victory of the year. Individual honors went to:

James Carpenter - first place overall, first place physics and first place chemistry.
Jordan Schermerhorn - second place overall, first place physics and first place biology.
Heather Gunn - third place overall.
Jeff King - fourth place overall.
Morgan Black - sixth place overall.
Sam Roberts - second place in the ninth- and tenth- grade division.
Josh De La Garza - ninth place in the ninth- and tenth- grade division.
