Churchill places second in state in One-Act play 


Churchill High School has finished second in the state in the One-Act play among 5-A high schools. Churchill competed at the State One-Act play contest on April 26 at Hogg Auditorium on the University of Texas campus. Among the 240 5-A schools who began the contest, Churchill High School finished second with their performance of scenes from Da.

Receiving all-star acting awards were Ben Mandelbaum and Forrest Weber. Stephanie Vorpahl also received an honorable mention all-star award. Congratulations go to the cast, crew, alternates and directors Clark Stevens and Andy Thornton.
