Wilshire Elementary School will host its annual Welcome Back Picnic on Thursday, August 21 from 5:15 - 7 p.m. in the school's courtyard. This picnic is one of many community events planned for the new school year.
"Wilshire community celebrations offer our school community an opportunity to learn about the Wilshire Core Values of Community, Curriculum, Climate and Character," said Gina Abrams, Family Specialist.
During the picnic, presentations will be offered in classrooms and "Virtue Games" will be played in the cafeteria. The school's PTA will serve hotdogs and lemonade.
