The International School of the Americas' (ISA) PeaceJam club invited Greg Mortenson, co-author of "Three Cups of Tea," to speak to the campus--Mortenson accepted. ISA will host Mortenson on Friday, August 29 at 2:30 p.m. in the Lee High School Auditorium.

"Three Cups of Tea" details Mortenson's journey after a failed 1993 climb on Pakistan's K2 and his dedication to promote community-based education and literacy programs in the remote mountain regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The ISA chapter of the national organization PeaceJam invited Mortenson after learning of his visit to Trinity University. The ISA PeaceJam club mission is to build a new generation of leaders by making positive changes to the members and the community.
