Eisenhower students 'Get Caught Reading'

Eisenhower Middle School students will celebrate National Library Week during April 14-18, 2008 by participating in a "Get Caught Reading" activity and the Lone Star Reading Incentive.

For "Get Caught Reading," students in book clubs will receive two tickets to give to any students they find reading a book for pleasure reading. Students who "Get Caught Reading" can go to the library to redeem their ticket for a small prize and have their picture taken for the bulletin board. The school has also started a Lone Star Reading Incentive where students who read at least eight already chosen books by the end of the week and turn in a short summary will have a free lunch with the principal and teacher of their choice.
