To instill a college-going mindset for students and their parents, Dellview Elementary School will host a Family College Night on May 15 from 6 - 7 p.m. This event will promote educational achievement, college awareness and financial literacy planning.
KLRN will facilitate the financial literacy workshops while representatives from University of Texas at San Antonio and Our Lady of the Lake University will lead discussions on early outreach programs and elementary college preparation. NEISD magnet programs will be showcased at the event, and the Dellview counselors will facilitate a workshop on preparing students for middle school.
