Partners In Education

Each year the Partners in Education program brings businesses and community groups together with schools and the district in a collaborative effort that enriches student learning. Through their donation of time and services, students benefit from this diverse array of knowledge and resources. Partners come from large and small companies, organizations, retirement communities, colleges, and more to create strong, positive role models for our students.

North East partnerships are long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between a business or community organization and a campus or the district. These partnerships are designed to be dynamic, innovative and responsive to all groups involved.

To be a business or community partner, you need to:

  • Have an interest in building a relationship with either a specific NEISD campus or the district as a whole
  • Designate an employee to work with your campus partnership liaison or the Specialist for Partners in Education
  • Have an enthusiastic commitment for a relationship with your district partner
  • Have an understanding of the NEISD partnership guidelines

Through the Partners In Education program, we have the Leadership North East program, which is an annual class of community members who meet monthly to learn about NEISD and public education.
