Getting Started—the Online Application

To complete the application, you will need documents providing information regarding certifications, degrees, and work experience. Additionally, you will need to provide three (3) professional references.

Reference information includes valid phone numbers and addresses for current and past supervisors and employers. These references should be work-related, having personal knowledge of your character, scholastic, or working ability. Do not use friends, family, or relatives as references on you employment application.

Before continuing on, please review the Applications section of the Help page to find out what additional information you may need. As well, ensure you read the following important points:

  • When you register/login to the application system, it may prompt you for your date of birth (DOB) as a security check. Enter your DOB in the mm/dd/yyyy format shown. For example, if your birthday is October 22, 1965, type 10/22/1965 in the date field. If the system returns an error message after entering your DOB, call Human Resources at (210) 804-7025, extension 221.
  • While completing the application, always enter information in the format shown, including any symbols.
  • When beginning the application, do not double click on the Start button. If you do, you will receive an error message that your social security number (SSN) is on file. If this happens, go back to the beginning of the application and select the Current Applicant option, and enter the user ID and password you created previously.
  • A red arrow [ ] next to a form field indicates that you must type information in the field. These required fields must be complete before you will be able to proceed further with the application.

Once you have submitted your application, you may go back and make changes, additions, and deletions at anytime. To make these modifications, you will need your user ID and password. Keep this information in a safe place and remember that the password is case-sensitive.

If you have any questions about the application, the application process, or if you are unable to register/login, you can request assistance by email; over the phone by calling (210) 804-7025, extension 221; or in person by stopping by Human Resources at 8961 Tesoro Drive.
