Music
All Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students attend music at Oak Grove at least twice a week in 25- minute blocks. Every other week students meet a third time. During the music class, students are exposed to music of the great classical composers as well as contemporary jazz and important cultural music from around the world. All students dance, sing, and play pitched or unpitched instruments. We are very fortunate at Oak Grove to have Orff instruments at our disposal, and North East Music Programs are some of the best available in the country.
