Library Information

    The Oak Grove Library provides a variety of reading materials at all reading levels.  Video programs and computer access are available, as well as a place for study and research by students.

    Students visit the library to check out library books, enjoy listening to a story, hearing a book talk or tackling some research topics.  Students enjoy presentations by various scheduled authors, storytellers or cultural presentations in the library during the school year.

    The Oak Grove Library is open during school days from 7:30am until 3:00pm. 

    There are no fines for overdue books but students are billed for damaged or lost books.  Each Monday the overdue list is printed and given to classroom teachers.

    Some of the library activities celebrated throughout the year are:

        Children's Book Week is in November.

          Texas Bluebonnet Reading incentive program is recognized in October through the end of January.

        Scholastic Book Fairs are scheduled in October and May.
