Family Specialist
Adriana Rivera is Oak Grove’s half time Title I Family Specialist. We share Adriana with Olmos Elementary. Her schedules are as follows:
Oak Grove: Monday, Thursday and every other Wednesday. 650-1550
Olmos: Tuesday, Friday, and every other Wednesday. 442-0650 x231

The Parent Academy is the NEISD initiative to help support and educate parents. The Parent Academy provides an opportunity for parents to acquire and apply the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their roles as their child’s first teacher. Through involvement in parent training sessions, these parents are motivated, encouraged and empowered not only to support their children through their own educational process, but also to continue their own. Classes are offered on Mondays (Spanish) from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and Thursdays (English) from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
ESL, English as a Second Language is offered to any adult who is interested in improving their English speaking and grammatical skills. Classes are offered Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:00 am.
