    We Take Our Students' Safety Seriously


    NEISD is committed to the safety of students, staff, parents, and volunteers. The district continuously seeks additional layers of security and enhances security measures already in place.

    The project to install perimeter fencing at our high schools is complete and installation at other schools is ongoing. Common at district campuses are cameras, secure entry vestibules, background checks, law enforcement officers, and “buzz-in” systems to access buildings. Additionally, campus employees and counselors receive training to recognize potential threats and students struggling with personal trauma.

  • 40 Northern Hills' celebrated 40 years in 2022 and will continue to serve students in the years to come.
  • 62 Teachers who are former Broncos.
  • 2019 Northern Hills became a Title I campus which allows us to provide your child with extra educational assistance beyond the regular classroom when needed.
  • 138 Northern Hills has teachers who care. Our Broncos get the best of us and all we have to offer.
