Recorder and Choirchimes


We would like to tell you about very special opportunity for students entering the 4th and 5th grades. The Northern Hills choir is a select, auditioned group of students who represent their school while learning and performing choral music. Both 4th and 5th grades meet for Choir on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 7:20-7:45 am.

If you are entering the 5th grade, there are two other opportunities for you. 5th grade choir members may also audition for a place in the Choirchimes or Recorder Ensemble. Choirchimes is a select group of 12 members. The ensemble meets Tuesdays afternoons from 2:50-3"45 p.m. to ring an instrument similar to a hand bell. Recorder Ensemble is a small, select group as well. This ensemble meets Thursday afternoons from 2:50-3:45 p.m. to play recorders of all sizes, and will play multi-part music. Members of Choirchimes and Recorder Ensemble must be active members of the Northern Hills Choir.
