¡Celebrate! Hispanic Heritage Month at the Library. Check out the displays of books by Hispanic authors and about Hispanic culture on display @ your library. Also, the Library is sponsoring a weekly drawing where students provide the answer to a question about Hispanic culture. The student whose name is drawn will receive a $10.00 gift card from Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

Clash of the Titles! Students form groups of four to compete in a question and answer competition based on ten books from this year's Lone Star list. The group that wins the Nimitz competition will represent us at the District competition. Exact dates are TBA, but expect to be ready for the campus competition some time in late April. The Lone Star books are:

  • After Ever After
  • Bruiser
  • Countdown
  • Forgive My Fins
  • Grimm Legacy
  • Heist Society
  • How to Survive Middle School
  • Little Blog on the Prairie
  • Payback Time
  • Stuck on Earth
  • Total Tragedy of a Girl Named Hamlet
  • Vampire Rising
