Nimitz Concert & Symphonic Band

Percussion Supply List

 

All percussionists in the Nimitz Band are required to have the following:

 

-         One practice pad

-         Two pairs or drum sticks (one nylon tip, one wooden tip Pro-Mark, Vic-Firth 5-B) General Sticks

-         One pair Mike Balter (or equivalent) Blue Yarn Mallets for Xylophone/ Suspended Cymbal

-         One Pair Tympani Mallets (Vic-Firth T-1 General or equivalent)

-         One Stick Bag for all sticks

-         One metronome with beat subdivision
