An intensive four-year performance-based curriculum prepares actor-singer-dancers for success in university and conservatory programs, and eventual careers in the professional theatre. Courses include acting for stage, film, and television, plus voice training for sight-reading, auditioning, and solo and ensemble performances. Students seek mastery of multiple musical, dance, and acting styles. Performance opportunities including mainstage, "black box" and touring productions.
Course work for Musical Theatre majors will include:
  • An intensive four-year performance curriculum for Actor-Singer-Dancers
  • Acting for stage, film, and television
  • Voice training for sight-reading, auditioning, solo and ensemble performances, and mastery of musical styles
  • Jazz, modern, and character dance
  • Mainstage productions plus Black Box and touring performances

Preparation for students to succeed in university and conservatory programs as well as professionally
