information for the community

North East ISD - N.E.E.S.P.A.

The North East Educational Support Personnel Association (NEESPA) was established in 1960 as a professional organization for secretaries, clerks, all administrative support and educational support staff.  We are affiliated with the Texas Educational Support Staff Association (TESA) and National Association of Educational Office Professionals

Our organization promotes professional and personal growth opportunities for any support staff and also sponsors several community projects.  We offer a powerful supportive network, fellowship and scholarships to graduating seniors in NEISD and to our members.

Our goal is to increase the amount of scholarships for our members and seniors. Therefore we strive to have two big fund raisers during the year while continually doing smaller ones throughout the months.   Our biggest fulfillment is from the community service that is given to some North East families in November and December when we provide food baskets and Bill Miller dinners to those in need. The 'Angel Tree' program is a long time NEESPA tradition where members and 'angels' pull together to provide gifts for kids who might not have a traditional Christmas. We have a wonderful 'Santa" and a caravan of rein'cars' in procession.

We invite you to attend a meeting!

Past Awards:

  • Adminsitrator Awards
  • 2011-2012 NEESPA Student scholarship was awarded to:
-Graciela Aparicio - Lee High School

Tips for the Month
Make a to-do list. Writing out what you need to do each day can go a long way toward helping you actually get it all done.

Empowering Quote:

We can do no great things, only small things with great love!
