The Building Plumbing Systems Branch is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all district owned building plumbing infrastructure systems. The plumbing infrastructure systems include:

  • Potable (drinking) water supply lines
  • Non-potable water (storm water, gray water or sewage) drainage and disposal
  • Industrial water piping systems (e.g. chilled/hot water, steam, etc)
  • Sanitation systems
  • Restroom fixtures
  • Lavatories & basins
  • Water closets
  • Fire suppression systems
  • Backflow prevention systems
  • Cathodic protection systems

In addition to plumbing, this branch is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Kitchen Equipment to include ovens, mixers, steam tables, roasters and other systems utilized in food preparation.

The branch is comprised of eight very skilled and customer oriented technicians who provide an array of quality services in the areas of plumbing and kitchen equipment. The trades are as follows: 

Kitchen Equipment Repair
Plumbing Apprentices.
