Kevin Maine has been selected as the North East Independent School District, Facility Maintenance and Operations Department Employee of the Quarter for 2016.
Kevin has been an employee with the district since 1985. Prior to joining us full-time, Kevin was a part time employee for several years while in High School through a District program. He currently serves the District as a Master Electrician.
Kevin is a highly motivated, extremely knowledgeable and dedicated employee with an upbeat and positive attitude. He always goes the "extra mile" in support of the Maintenance mission. Kevin works promptly, efficiently and produces the highest quality level of work. His experience in all phases of construction and maintenance makes him an invaluable asset to the School District.
Kevin volunteered to work the bucket truck all summer in 100 degree temperatures. He also repaired several VFD variable frequency drives saving the district money. He pulled several all night shifts ensuring campuses could open the next day.
Kevin graduated from MacArthur High School in 1983 and married his lovely wife Kim. They have 2 kids, Kelsey (10) and Karter (8).
Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting and spending time with the family.
