Congratulations Daniel Sierra

Daniel Sierra has been selected as the North East Independent School District, Facility Maintenance and Support Department Employee of the Month for February 2012.

Daniel is an electrician and has been with NEISD for 6 years.  His work in the electrical department is a critical element that keeps our schools running.   Daniel repairs and installs new equipment, electrical systems and lights to name a few.  He comes to the district after serving several years as a Civil Service employee.  There he accomplished many tasks from an aircraft electrician to a facility manager.  His work in these areas bring a lot of experience to the job.  His positive attitude makes him a pleasure to work with and a go to person when you want the job done.

Daniel is a 1974 graduate of Luther Burbank High school.  He later attended St. Phillips College for 2 years before serving his country in the Navy.

He is happily married to his wife, Linda, and they have two children Daniel Jr. and Laura Sierra. Some of his hobbies are fishing, traveling to Las Vegas, wood-working, music and spending time with the family.
