The Building Trades Branch is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all District owned building structural systems.

These "structural" systems include:
  • Interior and exterior wall systems
  • Doors & hardware
  • Carpet & tile
  • Windows
  • Lockers
  • Masonry
  • Metal work
  • Ceiling system
  • Cabinets and shelving
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Parking lot stripping and marking
  • Metal or wooden handrails and ramps
  • Leveling of portable buildings and classroom instructional tools such as chalk and dry erase boards

In addition to the normal day to day operations, personnel from the Building Trades Branch are always available to respond to after normal business hours emergencies. When damages to our facilities occur due to vandalism or the image of our facilities have been tarnished due to graffiti, our carpenters and painters are just a phone call away to provide temporary physical security (replace broken windows) or to remove unsightly graffiti.

The branch is comprised of highly skilled and customer oriented technicians who provide an array of quality services from the following trades.

  • Carpenters
  • Painters
  • Mason
  • Floor Techs
  • Glazier
  • Hardware Techs
