Discipline |
Students who fail to adhere to the Student
Code of Conduct
will be referred to their Administrator's office.
Disciplinary
action taken will depend upon
a careful assessment of all
circumstances, including the nature and severity
of the offense, and its
overall effect upon the
welfare and learning of other students.
Disciplinary consequences may include the following which
are not necessarily
listed in order of progressive severity:

Detention
Students report to the
ISS room by 8:15 AM
and remain there until 8:45 AM. Students must
bring
school books and school assignment.

Cafeteria Duty

Students report to the teacher in the cafe about
3 minutes before the end of their lunch period.
Teacher on duty will designate the area of the cafe
that student will help clean and issue the student a
pass after the cleaning is completed.

Campus Clean-Up
Students report to Mrs. Gesell in the Main Office
at 8:00 AM. Each student will be given gloves and
a plastic bag to pick up trash on campus.

Suspension
Suspension fall into 3 categories:
ISS
(In-School Suspension): May be for one or more periods or
all day.
Overnight: Students
remain in school but must be
accompanied by a parent the following school day.
OCS ( Off-campus
Suspension): Student remains home and return
to school accompanied by a parent at the end of the
suspension
period. This suspension may last from 1-3 days.

SRC
SRC is located on another campus. Parents
are required to provide transportation.
Assignments may be direct or through PPS.
Assignments are from 5 to 7 days. Students
may be assigned SRC only twice. Third referral
will result in AHS.

AHS (Alternative High School)
AHS is located on another campus. It is a long
term placement for a semester or school year.

Expulsion
Expelled students 17 or younger are assigned to
JJAEP for a semester or entire school year.
Students, 18 or older, remain at home for the
duration of the expulsion.
