A the beginning of the first class on each school day, students shall take part in two activities. These activities are:
 

• Moment of Silence

• Pledge of Allegiance
  

The period of silence is intended to be an individual private activity.  There shall be no attempt by teachers or administrators to influence in any way another person's thoughts regarding the period of silence.
