Varsity Coach: Tracy Hastings
Coach Hastings is in her 21st year of teaching and coaching for North East Independent School District. She began her career at Churchill High School, and has been at Madison High School for the past 17 years. Coach Hastings teaches Geometry.Coach Hastings graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics (1989) and a Master’s of Science degree in mathematics (1991). Coach Hastings played basketball for 4 years at Angelo State and served for 2 seasons as a graduate assistant.
Coach Hastings married David Hastings in 1995. They have a son, Korson.
Junior Varsity Coach: Vanessa Villarreal
Coach Villarreal is returning to Madison where she played basketball and graduated from in 2003. She began her career at St. Augustine High School in Laredo. She is in her second year of coaching at Madison. Coach Villarreal graduated from Texas A&M International in Laredo where she played basketball. She will be teaching Healthy Life Styles.
Freshman Coach: Daniel Aguilar
Coach Aguilar has been coaching Quarterbacks for 39 years. He has been at Madison for the past 5 years. He has also coached freshman boys’ basketball. He is married and has a daughter. This year will be his first coaching freshman girls’ basketball.
