This is my first exciting year at Madison High School. Before I found a home at Madison, I was a member of the Robert E. Lee High School faculty for 17 years. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia. For my masters degree, I attended Concordia University in San Antonio, Texas. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and absolutely loved teaching government to future voters! When I am not at Madison, I am either on my kayak fishing, walking my dog- Señor Miguel, or reading something fabulous. I have a daughter Amanda, who graduated from Texas State. She is already looking for blue and orange gifts for mom. My goal this year is to get to know the students, faculty, and staff of Madison High School. What a great start to a successful new year!

This is my second year with NEISD and I'm proud to be a Madison Maverick. I have been an educator for 15 years and previously worked at John Jay High School with NISD before moving to James Madison High School. I am looking forward to another successful year with our students here at Madison, taking us from a TEA Recognized Campus (2009) to the next level. It's always a great day at Madison. Kaizen! Continuous Improvement!

This is my 28th year in education. I spent the first 19 years as a coach. I coached football, cross country, and soccer as my main sport.  The last 9 years have been in administration.  I enjoy the outdoors. In the winter I love to go snow skiing and in the summer do a lot of camping and fishing.  I have been married for 25 years. I have one son and two daughters. Aaron has graduated from college, Amanda is currently attending Texas State, and Alyssa is a new freshman attending Reagan High School. I really enjoy working here at Madison. I enjoy the students and especially enjoy working with the CARE students.
