Requirements:

  • Must be coming into the 9th grade
  • Must be enrolled in JROTC
  • Must be physically fit

The Mac Arthur male Drill  team, known as the Mighty Blue Guard, is recognized as one of the top three teams in the nation. It is an honor to be on the team, participate, and practice every day to be the best and know that you are contributing to the school's pride and your pride. The team drill's with M1903-A3 that weigh 8.69 pounds. With these weapons we do routine warm-ups, regulation drill, and an 8 - 10 minute exhibition. We practice to compete in three phases of drill, which include regulation, inspection, and the crowd favorite, exhibition. We travel anywhere from Corpus Christi, Houston, Fort Worth, and Nationals in Datona Beach, FL. We hope to see you become part of the team next year, and "Go All The Way" Blue Guard
