	Officer's Meeting 

Dues- $5 (to cover National & State fees, and $2 for Honor Society)
     - Charge for NLE & Area Contest separate
Tee-Shirt ideas (grey shirt), discuss more at
     general meeting
General Meetings-
     Two times a month (same meeting, you'd only have to go to one)
     one in AM, one in PM ?
Next Meeting: TBA (week of September 10-14)
Events
     - Area Contest- February 23 at Alamo Heights 
     - State Contest- April 5-6 in Austin
     - Breakthrough- TBA; with the sophomore class 
     - Cretamen practices once a week
     - Outside activity at least once a month
Culture Day
Celebrate Roman holidays 
Parties/Activities (bowling, laser quest, video scavenger hunt)
     - Video Scavenger Hunt- TBA September
Field Trip to SAMA-- October 23-24 
Popcorn Sale-- October 15-19 & February 25- March 1

Italy Trip Meeting 
     - Trip to Italy: Spring Break 2002, open to all Latin II, 
          III+ students
Video Scavenger Hunt: October 5
     - Meet at Mr. Matthews' house (more info to come)
Pop Corn Sale: October 15-19
     - Sell one bag and ($5) dues are paid 
Tee Shirt Contest
     - Submit ideas--winner will receive a free tee shirt
	or free dues
Contests 
     - Certamen Practice- Novice: Sept. 18 (8:15 AM);
          Upper: Sept. 20 (8:15 AM)
     - Tournaments- Reagan: November 10
     - Churchill: December 18
     - Madison: January 26
     - Area: Saturday, February 23, at Alamo Heights 
     - State: Friday/Saturday, April 5-6, in Austin 
     - NLE: March 6
