| Students
will find that Business Law is one of the most interesting subjects at
school. The problems you will study reflect true situations where business
law has had a major impact on the lives of young persons, adults, and business
firms.
As
part of the course study, students will learn how to solve legal problems.
All of the
legal problems discussed are actual cases that have been decided by the
courts. Students
will study each case in order to analyze the situation, determine the rule
of law involved, and reach a decision.
Students will also be able to: * Understand the origin and necessity for a court system * Clarify the debtor and creditor relationship * Distinguish between personal and real property * Become familiar with local, state, and federal laws * Study crimes and torts that involve a minor * Identify the characteristics of a contract * Choose a family lawyer |
