As District Champions, the Lady Brahmas got a bye in the first round. They proceeded to dispatch Warren by a 2-0 score in the Area playoff, and then Churchill 2-0 in the regional quarter-final. At the Region IV Tournament, held April 7-8 in North East Soccer Stadium, MacArthur defeated McAllen 5-0 in the semi-final, and then defended their regional championship by defeating Reagan 3-1 in the final. outscored 2-1 by Katy Taylor in the State semi-final on Thursday, April

After winning the District
26-5A Championship, the Lady Brahmas defeated O'Connor 2-0 in the
Area Playoff match and won the regional quarter-final, away to Smithson
Valley, by a 3-0 score. The The Region IV tournament saw two 0-0
overtime thrillers, against Harlingen South and Reagan, both won by Mac
in a shoot-out! The season ended with a 2-0 loss to North Mesquite
in the state semifinal match. |
