Lost and Found: A Mac Graduate's Charm Bracelet!Update: August 2, 2004 - from John Kracke Recently one of the members of the Class of 1966 contacted me and provided a possible candidate for the owner. The name provided is Kathy Lyons. She graduated in ‘66 and moved to the Maryland area shortly afterward. I am now trying to find someone who may know Kathy or her whereabouts so I can contact her and see if she is the owner. This is the best lead I have had since starting my search over three years ago. Is there some way that you could help me find this person?Date: Thu, 30 May 1996 08:03:12 -0500 A while ago (two years) I recovered a charm bracelet from a school yard near Hagerstown, Maryland. I am trying to locate the owner. What I do know is that the owner is female, probably attended MacArthur High School (there is a school pendant on the bracelet that says so) and also attended an "AHJS" school (also a pendant). The school colors for the MacArthur High are Blue and White. The school colors for the AHJS are yellow(gold?) and ??. The bracelet can be seen at my web page: The owner attended attended MacArthur in the early 60's and probably graduated in 1963. There is a charm on the bracelet from Juarez and is dated '63 (I think it might be related to a school sponsored trip). The person also probably played a clarinet in the school band (there is a clarinet charm on the bracelet). Can anyone tell me if MacArthur High sponsored any type of trip to Juarez in 1963? Also, can they check with any class of 63 representative (who might be in charge of class reunions) to see if anyone (female) has moved to the Hagerstown MD area as a teacher after college (AROUND 1967-70)? The school, where I found the bracelet, opened in 1965 (A good place for a person just out of college in 1967 to start their career). The bracelet was lost around 1970 (there were some coins with it that dated the period). I have been in contact with two schools in the Hagerstown area, but so far nothing has surfaced. I know this is a long shot, but I think it would be great if I could locate the owner and return this long lost item which, I am certain, holds some sentimental value. I appreciate any help you and MacArthur High can provide. Thanks, Email:
