Ranch Hand Reminders
from our principal, Glenn Forde

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On Tuesday and Wednesday, our fourth and fifth grade students will be taking the STAAR tests. On Tuesday our fourth grade students will take the STAAR writing test and our fifth grade students will take the STAAR math test. On Wednesday, our fifth grade students will take the STAAR reading test. Your role in helping our students be successful is critical. We will have a closed campus on Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure our students have the most optimal test-taking environment. There will be no visitors allowed on campus once the school day has begun. We are asking our fourth and fifth grade parents to please make sure your child has a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast leading up to each day of STAAR testing. I am confident that with your help and support, all of our students will be successful on this assessment.

Don’t forget to bring in your gently used books for the NEISD Council of PTA’s 14th Annual Used Book Sale. Books can be dropped off in the boxes located in the commons area (see flyer, below). Thank you for your support.
