the end Conclusion: The conclusion brings an opportunity for the teacher to ask for feedback. It is a summing up of the project and the process. The conclusion allows the student to debrief about what was learned, reflection on topics that were explored, and a chance for a type of closure. This is the time to promote discussion about the activity and to have students engage in rich conversation. Feedback from the student and the teacher is encouraged.

Other Procedures for WebQuests:

Sometimes topics can be sensitive. Make webquests a community undertaking. Invite parents, teachers, and administrators to become collaborators in the quests. A letter to a parent is an easy way to let them know how you are using the Internet and the curriculum ideas your students are going to explore.

Other times, topics that students research may have local interest. It is a good idea to let others know what rich curriculum ideas have evolved from the use of the Internet, and the wonderful projects that have come out of the process. Promote your students!

The webquests allow the students to become creative and problem-solvers. The opportunity to engage in process learning will enhance the students ability to become creative thinkers of tomorrow.
